YEAH! YEAH! YEAH!
THANK YOU for stopping by "The Daily Grind," the Wesley Foundation in Cincinnati community blog.
My name is Rev. Ashley Cheung. I am thrilled to be serving as the Interim Executive Director for the Wesley Foundation in Cincinnati! As a Deacon in the United Methodist Church, I am called to help God share God's unconditional love and radical justice with ALL people. Central to my particular calling, is a heart for ministry with young people. In fact, over the last seven years, I served as a youth pastor, a minister of young adults, and a NICU chaplain. I am looking forward to drawing on these parish-based and hospital-based experiences while learning about campus ministry from the AMAZING students at the Wesley Foundation in Cincinnati!
My spouse, Kin, and my twenty-two month old daughter, Katie, are excited to be a part of the Wesley Foundation also! Katie, a HUGE homemade soup and Adriatico's pizza fan (like her mommy!), eagerly awaits the opportunity to drop by for lunch on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Kin, on the other hand, is looking forward to working with students who are passionate about social justice and missions. Personally, I am excited about the opportunity to worship with students and several Ohio River Valley congregations through "Worship on Wheels" each Sunday. All three of us are looking forward to building relationships with the AMAZING Wesley Foundation students, alumni, board members, and partners in ministry!
Please feel free to drop by the Wesley Foundation (2717 Clifton Avenue) anytime on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, or Thursdays. We will have fair-trade coffee, yummy bagels, and God's unconditional love to share!
